April 14th,
Less than a week after Shia's role in New York, I Love You was announced we have more casting news to report. He will play the lead in a sci-fi thriller called Dark Fields about a coke addict, Eddie, who discovers a drug that will make you smarter, leading to success and popularity, but comes with deadly side effects. The film is based on the novel by Alan Glynn and will be helmed by The Illusionist director Neil Burger.
April 10th,
According to a slew of reports today Shia has his next project lined up, and from what I took away it is being filmed next, before Transformers II. New York, I Love You is an anthology of 12 short films set in New York City. Each segment will be helmed by a seperate director and the cast reportedly includes Orlando Bloom, Hayden Christiansen, Chris Cooper, Rachel Bilson, Justin Bartha, Anton Yelchin, James Cann, Ethan Hawke, Robin Wright-Penn, Julie Christie, Natalie Portman, Maggie Q, Blake Lively, Cloris Leachman. Shia and Julie Christie will appear in the same story about a woman and a young man finding a mysterious connection to one another in a hotel existing between two worlds.
April 9th,
Two new promo photos of Shia looking very much the hero in training as Mutt have surfaced at The Raven. Thanks to nileQT87 for posting these great shots.
April 8th,
Your chance has come and your mission if you choose to accept it is to make a short video showing your athletic ability, your adventurous side, and your all encompassing love for Indiana Jones and you could be named the new Indy Girl. And the prize...seeing Shia at the taping of TRL in NYC! Personally, I think it would have been more interesting had it been open to guys as well to look for the Biggest Indy Fan Alive, but click the link below if you feel confident and good luck!
Remember us if you win and share you story if you get to go. Winners will be chosen by votes and I will be choosing one video as the site's favorite to drive votes to, so if you would like me to spotlight your video, let me know why you think you should meet The Boy and I will everything I can to bring your votes up. Kinda like our own little contest, huh? Again, good luck!
AND, now that I've submitted that news, along comes another Indy contest! This one is through ET and the prize is watching a screening of Crystal Skull in New York City with cast members (which cast members are not mentioned yet) and to win, along with creating a video of yourself doing an Indy character impression, you must also answer three trivia questions. Whew...again good luck to all who try out!
And a little break from the Jones family, the first confirmed filming location for Transformers II has been announced as Philadelphia.
April 7th,

Come on, genius, click here to go to the Official Site find download links to see the commercial. And a browse a few pics from the red carpet, the show, and caps of the commercial below.
